There can be times in life where we need to book flights at the last minute for various different reasons. If your passport is out of date or it’s lost or stolen, you might find yourself in a tricky situation. To help give you peace of mind, we’ve provided relative information which could help you when applying for an emergency passport.

The Process

Thankfully, the Irish Passport Office provides a great service to accommodate emergency situations.
The Pilot Rapid Renewal service allows members of the public to renew their passport in less than 3 working days.

To apply for an emergency passport through the Pilot Rapid Renewal Service, simply book an appointment at your local passport office online at www.passportappointments.ie.

On the day of your appointment, we recommend arriving with your old passport, 4 photographs, PPSN number, application form, printed proof of travel plans and the relevant fee. The Passport Service will then do its best to issue your passport by close of business on the day of your appointment.

Travel Safe

If you are in a situation where you need to travel un-expectantly, Chill Money can provide additional financial support to assist with your travel plans. We take out the hassle involved in applying for a loan.
